The pure weirdness and the dissonance are what originally drew me to Danny Playamaqui's music. It always makes me grin to hear it, because I can imagine how strange it must sound to other people. You might describe it as "alien-music." But if you can get past that knee-jerk reaction, you can enjoy this style on a purely sensory level. You just have to relax enough.
